You can find Madryn Castle in the heart of the Llyn Peninsula on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, central to some of Wales’ finest visitor attractions. Just a short drive is the bustling seaside resort of Abersoch, with its award winning beach, shops and pretty harbour.

Only 3 miles from Nefyn, Madryn Castle is close to some the most pristine sandy beaches the UK has to offer.

Further east along the coast you will find the must see fairytale Italianate village of Portmeirion. If you’re the outdoor type, Betws y Coed offers some fantastic walks and mountain bike routes whilst the Ffestiniog steam railway in Porthmadog offers a unique steam train experience for all the family to enjoy.

Madryn Castle is less than an hours drive from the base of Wales' highest mountain; Snowdon. If Snowdon seems a little daunting there are plenty of other walks to be found all across the North Wales countryside that suit all ages and abilities.
